Program Choice collaborates with schools and local establishments
to deliver a comprehensive financial literacy program to students in Tulsa and surrounding counties.
During the series of meetings Program CHOICE exposed over 200 students to best practices and
multiple situations where decisions had to be made concerning saving or spending money, in-addition
to being exposed to the risk of gambling and making poor financial choices. Students were encouraged
to (Choose wisely, Heighten knowledge through investigation, Operate from a position of knowledge,
Include professional opinions in decisions, Clarify terms and agreements in writing, and Execute decisions

Second Chance Loan Program
In 2010 My Choice Federal Credit Union obtained the low-income designation along with the board of directors increasing its commitment
to lend to low-income and unbanked individuals from 9% to 21%. Through informative education and partnering with community organizations,
My Choice Federal Credit Union has increased its outreach, effectively reaching low-income and unbanked individuals.
In 2011 My Choice Federal Credit Union has loaned over $300,000.00 dollars to individuals who would have previously been turned away and
subjected to predatory lenders. Forty percent of those who received counseling obtained loans.
My Choice offers free pre-purchase counseling to individuals who are exploring their options to purchase a
motorized vehicle or considering consolidating their financial obligations. My Choice encourages participants
of this one on one counseling to (Choose wisely, Heighten knowledge through investigation, Operate from a position
of knowledge, Include professional opinions in decisions, Clarify terms and agreements in writing, and Execute decisions
with confidence). In 2011 My Choice counseled over 125 members using the principals of PROGRM CHOICE with 75% of inquirers receiving finances.
